With the completion of the gardesana road, the flow of people increased, but the place remained the same as always. In 1963 the turning point came with zio umberto who, after some experiences abroad, returned to castelletto full of novelties. It was a triumph of colors, flowers and joy with which the port came alive and the first tourists arrived. Home-made lasagna, trout and whitefish became the "strong dishes" of the place, which continued its ascent until the end of the 80s.
